Question 1:

After each color adjustment, if the loss increased I would drag the bar back to it's original place, until the color decreased to the lowest it possibly could. If it decreased first, then I would leave it there unless all of them didn't meet below 3 than I would rearrange the bars till they did. The loss value helped guide me to get the correct collor as it indicated whether I was getting closer or farther.

Question 2:

I did find some usefull tricks, first move the bar up and down and look at loss value till it get's the closest to 3. Another Usefull trick I used is one of the three colors has to be close to the match color so move the color that is the closest upward and this will usually drop you below 10. I did not find the issue where the bar is stuck, if I did I would've just reset everything and try again.

Question 3:

Yes, I did feel like I was going down a mountain while playing the game. Each time I changed the colors and the loss value got smaller, it felt like I was getting closer to the bottom. It helped me know I was making progress and going the right way.
